5 October 2005: Royal visit and the launch of the second phase of the irrigation project.

In collaboration with the National Human Development Initiative (INDH), the Southern Agency and the Ministry of Solidarity, King Mohamed VI inaugurated the project to plant 2000ha of prickly pear in the province of Guelmim.
